We help to construct a Children Sharing Centre in Nyagatare (Rwanda)

"In just one hundred days over 800.000 innocent Rwandan men, women and children were brutally murdered while the developed world impassive and apparently unperturbed, set back and watched the unfolding apocalypse or simply changed channels."
Gen. Roméo Dallaire, UN Force commander 1994 in Rwanda

Now we get at it: 1-2-Help + + 11.111 donations à 40 Euro
for a Children Sharing Centre in Rwanda

A campaign of the ecumenical 1World-Group of the Protestant and the Catholic Church Congregations of the valley "Erbstromtal" in Thuringia, Germany.

In February 2007 members of our 1World-Group visited Rwanda and met victims and survivors of the genocide. It was a shocking experience but at the same time we realized a lot of hopeful signs. So, we returned with the strong wish to help the young people to find a way back into a decent life.

Please, help constructing a Children Sharing Centre for uprooted children and youths in Nyagatare in Rwanda, who became victims of the genocide in 1994.
Right now is the time to support the fight for reconciliation among the people there and the improvement of their whole living conditions.
We support the rwandan association ASSIST-RWANDA which counsels and supports their beneficiaries according to their needs.

Thus, the personal commitment of people is requested who feel responsible to fight for a peaceful and just world.

If many people will join our campaign we can help thousands of young rwandan people to create the basis of a better perspective. And no one of us will be overstrained.
Giving 40 Euro one time can help to improve the living conditions of thousands of young people: welcome "aboard"!

God bless you!

The patron of our campaign in favour of the Children Sharing Centre is the former Prime Minister of Thuringia, Dr. Bernhard Vogel.

With my kind regards, in the name of the Ecumenical 1World-Group

Pastor Gerhard Reuther, Ruhla (Germany)
